BEATRIX POTTER- BIOGRAPHY

Did you know that when Beatrix Potter was 15 years old invented a language made of symbols and she wrote a journal written in a secret code?. When she grew older, she tried to read the stories , but she didn't succeed.Only after many years and after her death, the code was cracked.

Beatrix Potter was born in London, on 28th July, 1866. She had a brother, his name was Walter Brentam. Beatrix didn't go to school, but she had  three able governesses as  teachers, and Miss Camerun was one of these who gave her art lesson. She loved animals a lot and when she went on holidays in the summer to the countryside in Scotland, she always carried with her the rabbit or mice. She loved nature and animals and on holidays she could observe and learn about plants and insects of every kind.

Her first book was " The tale of Peter Rabbit" written in 1902, in 1903 she wrote " The tale of Squirrel" and "The tale of Gloucester" Nutkin". In 1905 she wrote "The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle" and  "The Tale of the pie and the Patty-Pan". Her last tale, "The Tale of little pig Robinson" was written in 1930. She died on 22 December 1943.
